vISIT TO mUSEUM OF sCIENCE AND tECHNOLOGY tHURSDAY 7/12/06
We had a most interesting visit to the exhibition high lighting the problems of the increasing volumnes of packaging being created each year.
Stephen gave us a superb dialogue whilst dressed as a pile of rubish. He was completely covered, even his face and every scrap of waste you could imagine was attached to him.
We then went to the area where we could play on touch screen exhibits pf different areas involved and from being a fairly smug person who thought they knew a lot, I realised that I knew nothing.
We then went to the education suite where we imbibed tea or coffee and munched on a yummy mince pie. Whilst there, with the assistance of our three lovely curators, we had the opportunity to make a piece of paper from pulped newsprint. The curators had added some sparkles to the mix to make it more interesting. It was all great fun and the group had a super visit thanks to Mary and the Museum, who catered to our extra needs very well indeed.
