Visit to Manchester Gallery 26.5.05

We had a very enjoyable visit to the Gallery with Mary, Ann giving her usual audio description and a Curator telling us about the painter and painting. One of the greatest benefits afforded tot eh public at Manchester Gallery is the fact that they provide very light weight folding stools which you carry around with you. This is a great boon for people like me who find it difficult to stand in one place for any length of time. We will have to ask Gallery Oldham if they can provide the same service for our next visit to Oldham. Mary's next event is a visit to the Science and Industry Museum on Thursday and I will let you know how that trip pans out.
Regards to all, Elaine
