LET US REMEMBER

This is avery special day and anniversary for on August 15th 1945 World War 2 came to an end. This had truely been a world wide war in which people from every quarter of the world had been involved. The dropping of the dropping of the two antom bombs on Japan had brought the war to an end. The worlds worst period of devastation, inhumanity and killing was over and the world was never going to be the same again.
So let us spend a couple of moments in thought.

They shall grow not old as we that are left grow old
age shall not weary them nor the years condem
at the going down of the sin and in the morning we shall
remember them.

When you go home tell them of us,
and say,
For your tomorrow we gave our today.

There are no flowers on a sailor's grave
no lilies lay upon the waves
just the sound of the seagulls aweep
and the tear that runs down the loved ones cheek.
