Font readability

This follows on from the comments about font readability in a previous post. In the following paragraph, each line contains the same words but is formatted in a different font:

This is the age of the train and bicycle
This is the age of the train and bicycle
This is the age of the train and bicycle
This is the age of the train and bicycle

The fonts for the four lines are:

  1. Times new roman
  2. Georgia
  3. Arial
  4. Verdana

Which font do you find the most readable? If you print out the post, is your choice the same for the printed version?

Favourite Websites

Hi all,

AbilityNet produces a report on accessible websites including airline sites, banks etc. and for their next report, they want to publish the favourite websites of people with disabilities.

If you are interested in adding your favourite websites to their list, let them know by emailing Robin, at mail to Robin with a list of the websites. The closing date is the 8th September, next week.

Here is a link to their report on online supermarket websites
