This date was set to commemorate the day that the Second World War ended.
When you go home, tell them of us, and say, for your tomorrow we gave our todyl

Just spare a moment and remember those young men who gave their lives for your freedom.

Steam up

Last Monday I and around forty overs from the Sinderland M Church went first to Boundery mill, which in it's new location is something to behold. We then went on to Haworth which as you will most likely know is the Bronte country! and the other interesting thing there is the\ railway/
five of us went from Haworth to Keighley then to Oxenhope and back to Haworth.
And then we had a very nice tea at a farmhouse a few miles away, and then home.
A very enjoyable day out.
